Application for Cannabis Card

If you are suffering from an illness and you think that Cannabis could help you in your fight against your illness in a country or state where it is legal to use medical marijuana, then you should apply for a Cannabis card. The first thing that you should do when applying for the card is to consult your physician. You should be suffering from a chronic disease in order to qualify. After the consultation, the doctor has to give a prescription or recommendation that you can benefit from using medical marijuana.
The recommendation of the physician should include diagnosis and the reason why you are eligible to file for a cannabis card. The state health department office can provide you an application form. When you have the documents needed, you can proceed to applying for a cannabis registry card. Having a medical marijuana card means that you are responsible for its use and you should it use solely for medical purposes. In some states such as California allows you to grow your own hemp and purchase them from a licensed dispensary.
When you apply for the card, you have to schedule an appointment with the public health administration office. When you are given an appointment, make sure to bring the necessary documents including the filled up application form, government issued ID cards such as passport or driver’s license, current utility bill or receipt for rental payment. Do not forget to bring the recommendation for your doctor.
