Negative Effects of Medical Cannabis

Possibly the greatest argument against medical cannabis in treating ailment is the side effects. It could cause acceleration or aggravation of the diseases that it is being used for. The primary respiratory effects of smoking marijuana, meaning one joint a day are pulmonary infections and respiratory cancer. Other side effects could also include smaller air passages impairment, lung inflammation, bronchitis and development of pre-cancerous abnormalities of the bronchial lining and lungs.
Because marijuana is full of hundreds of chemicals, when it is burned, hundreds of compounds more are created. Other effects could include learning and memory problems, heart rate acceleration, distorted perception, and panic and anxiety attacks. However, there is no known acute deadly overdose because of marijuana use, unlike other prescription drugs.
For hundreds and hundreds of years, medical cannabis has been used in treating various diseases around the world. In that time until now, there has never a report of death due directly to weed consumption. On the other hand, over 1,000 people die yearly from overdose in the United States f the most common drug, the aspirin. Furthermore, hundreds of deaths resulted from prescription of legal drugs.
