What the MMP card is all about

The Medical Marijuana Program or MMP card was created to give a medical marijuana ID registry program and issuance for qualified patients and caregivers. The card is administered in the residence county of the patient. With a doctor’s recommendation, a patient and his or her caregiver could apply and be issued an MMP card.
The laws regarding MMP has been increasing throughout the United States and has already affected sixteen states. In providing legal medical marijuana identification cards, the US government has established a secure and dependable way to ascertain that the right persons are who ones who can possess medical marijuana legally. After the passing of the law, several states have created their own version of a web registry in their state. The program is to implement basic regulations such as a specific manner that ensures a member’s confidentiality and protect the public.
Some of the symptoms that marijuana is known to cure are glaucoma, HIV/AIDS, multiple sclerosis, specific cancers, Parkinson’s disease and pains that are associated to other illnesses. Each state has different steps to acquiring an MMP card. The card is a means to get access to medical marijuana solely for medical purposes and to regulate its use among patients diagnosed with diseases that can be cured by medical marijuana.
